Travel to Conference Hotel

From SUVARNABHUMI AIRPORT or Don Muang international Airport at Bangkok, there are many airlines that connect you to Chiang Mai.
From Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX), Chiang Mai, Thailand
1 (Most recommended). There are shuttle bus provided by the hotel at the cost of 100THB/person. This is the most convenient way of transportation from airport to the conference hotel. Just look for the sign of hotel in front of the arrival hall.
2 (Highly recommended). Taxi : There are several kinds of transportation services provided for passengers, including limousine and car rental services. Transportation service counters are located on the 1st floor opposite domestic and international arrival lounges. TAXI is most recommended and convenient.
Chiang Mai Airport is located a short distance from the city center and songteaw and tuk-tuks are readily available to provide taxi services outside the terminal building. Expect to pay 160 baht for a taxi to most destinations in the city, while the return trip to the airport costs around 100 baht. Many hotels will arrange free transfer to and from the airport. Check with your hotel to see if they provide this service.
There are at least 2 Taxi providers. The following is one of the provider.

3 (Least recommended) Public bus : RTC Public buses are available from CNX airport to station next to hotel (10 minutes walk). This new Smart Bus system is a great alternative to all the cars and scooters on the road here, these busses are modern and clean! Improvements are being made its still fairly new!

At 20bht per ride its a great affordable option compared to Grab or other transportation choices (yellow or green trucks are similar prices, but a bus is so much higher quality, if it runs frequently) also if you dont use a motorbike or scooter - or simply want to reduce your carbon footprint.
Download the free RSC CM App to follow busses locations live. Use the City Bus signs on the app as the bus stops - you have to look carefully for them in person - but most are there and in English.
They are adding new routes frequently to serve several outskirt areas of Chiang Mai!
